New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011: Need To Know

Tom Ford's very hush hush show featured the likes of Beyonce and Julianne Moore as models (spot them in the picture above) and only 100 guests were invited to watch. Just one in house photographer, Terry Richardson, was permitted to take pictures. These photos won't be released until 2011 when the collection goes on sale as Tom Ford attempts to go against the trend of 'blanket coverage' following fashion shows. He suggests that by the time the clothes actually reach the stores, they have already been over-exposed and become less desirable to customers. Very cloak and dagger.
