Topshop's 'True' Ballet Pumps Are Back

Flats, £16 Topshop

When ballet pumps rocketed six years ago Topshop provided the most wearable high street copies of French Sole's cult pumps. (The ones Kate moss had glued to her feet for most of 2007/8.) Unlike other high street copies, these were beautifully soft, perfectly rounded at the toe, made from great quality leather and available in a rainbow of colours. Then, they changed. Suddenly they were harder, cheaper looking and the toes were fatter - not a patch on the originals.

Now, six years on those butter-leather, perfect fit, sleek toed beauties are back and available in a variety of colours. Priced at £16 a pop makes for one very happy Fashion Editor
