My Flash Trash

Love Token necklace, £210 Anne Bowes at myflashtrash.com

Fashion Editor recently wrote an article about rising jewellery e-boutique My Flash Trash, citing it as one of the coolest new jewel destinations to shop at this season.

Having since met its owner, Amber Atherton, I feel compelled to give My Flash Trash another little shout out on my blog.

Amber's enthusiasm for hand plucking and supporting up and coming British designers to feature and sell on her website is fantastic. Backing homegrown labels is her forte, and she does it well.

Point in case is Brit trinket master Anne Bowes. Based in East Sussex and London Anne blends vintage, antique and contemporary elements in her work, like the engraved edges of this Love Token medallion, suspended on a modern bead chain.

Check out the inscription too. Cute. And just in time for Valentines...
